Job Description Mō te tūranga | About the role The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving awareness of the Museum and our public programmes, education offerings, retail store, and revenue generating activities. With demonstrable experience developing and executing successful campaigns and marketing plans, the Marketing Specialist will harness the opportunities within the Museum’s events and education programmes to maximise visitation whilesupporting ourcommercial team to deliver income targets. This role is responsible for: Delivery of marketing that supports our Public Programmes, Commercial, and Education activities to support Museum visitation and revenue targets Management of external digital marketing suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive key projects and always-on digital marketing initiatives, including website strategy, UI/UX improvement projects, SEO/SEM campaigns and optimisations, Ai discoverability, and some social and content projects. Leading an exciting partnerships programme to expand our reach into communities Desired Skills and Experience Experienced in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns, including content creation, with a particular focus on video content Strong project management background A keenness to stay at the forefront of the impact of Ai on marketing, tourism and destination marketing Experience managing external suppliers and agencies Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams Closing Date:Sunday 9 August 2026.
