Job Description We are seeking an experienced, senior Project Manager to join our supportive and collaborative Case Services team on a permanent basis. Case Services is part of Digital, Tāhū o te Ture – the Ministry of Justice. This role involves leading passionate project teams in a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages bringing the best personal contributions to the job. We are looking for a proactive Project Manager with a positive attitude towards delivering results. A team player willing to share knowledge with the wider Digital and Case Services team and have a proven track record of successful project delivery. You will be able to the hit the ground running and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones within budget. Reporting to the Manager Delivery, Case Services, in this role, you will: lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve project goals manage project budgets, risks, and issues, escalating when necessary represent the project for all governance and steering committee activities provide timely and accurate project reports to stakeholders be responsible for release management build strong, collaborative relationships to become a trusted leader. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior skills in reporting and writing for Governance committees, experience in writing detailed business cases using Treasury's Better Business Case and using a wide range of tools from the MS365 suite such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Teams and other project management tools including FMIS, and PowaPlanner. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have a tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience proven project management experience in large and complex organisations experience leading project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget, particularly in an Agile context collaborative experience working with service managers to drive business and digital change to improve business outcomes experience leading vendors to deliver effective, efficient, and high-quality solutions a strong ability to build and maintain effective business relationships, internally and externally. experience in public sector digital project delivery desirable About us At Te Tāhū o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice, we\'re committed to strengthening people\'s trust in the law of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
