Free onsite parking About the Role The Bay of Plenty Clinical Trials Unit delivers commercial clinical trials at Tauranga Hospital, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. The clinical trial environment is a dynamic and stimulating field of work. Our Research Nurses main role is to co-ordinate clinical research activities from the feasibility stage of a trial to close out, inclusive of administrative and nursing tasks. Therapeutic areas cover Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Oncology and Haematology. We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered Nurse to work as a Research Nurse to join the team. Previous clinical trial and oncology/haematology nursing experience would be an advantage. However, full training will be given. The position is full time (40 hours per week), but part time (32 hours per week) can be considered. About the Team/Service/ Location The Bay of Plenty Clinical Trials Unit works alongside Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered for clinical trials. The Clinical Trials Unit is located nearby Tauranga Hospital in a purpose-built facility. You will work in a team of Research Nurses and will work closely with clinicians based at Tauranga Hospital, research sponsors, external vendors, pharmaceutical monitors, and with patients. About you This role would suit someone who likes to have autonomy and variety in their role as no two days are the same.
