Job Description
About the Role As the Associate Project Manager, you’ll join our Operations team and work alongside experienced managers to learn the full project lifecycle of electricity transmission line build and upgrade projects. Reporting to the Delivery Manager – Projects, you’ll be trained to manage projects from scoping through to delivery and completion, ensuring they’re completed safely, on time, and within budget. Role Responsibilities Manage projects end-to-end from pricing and planning to delivery and completion Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, invoicing and reporting Work closely with customers, contractors, field crews, and internal teams Ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction across all project stages Support estimating, design, and planning when required Role Requirements A full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Solid problem‑solving skills and financial awareness Confidence working with diverse teams and stakeholders High levels of integrity, safety awareness, and motivation to learn Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint (advantageous) About Northpower Northpower is an organisation with deep regional roots and national reach.
