About Us
\n We are an Auckland-based construction company delivering residential and commercial building projects across the region. To support our growing operations, we are looking for a reliable and organised Supply and Inventory Officer to manage our warehouse materials, monitor stock levels, and coordinate the supply of construction materials and equipment to our project sites.
Location: Auckland
\n Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
\n Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
\n Pay Rate: NZD $24–$26 per hour
Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect and record incoming construction materials, tools and equipment, ensuring quantities and quality match purchase orders and delivery documents. \n
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records. \n
- Organise and maintain the warehouse to ensure materials are stored safely, clearly labelled and easy to locate. \n
- Coordinate the distribution of materials, tools and equipment to construction sites based on project requirements and schedules. \n
- Prepare purchase requests and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock. \n
- Track material usage and identify shortages or overstock situations, reporting these to management. \n
- Conduct regular stocktakes and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records. \n
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors and suppliers regarding material availability and delivery schedules. \n
- Maintain records of deliveries, returns, damaged items and stock movements. \n
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with company health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised working environment. \n
Requirements

- NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification in a related field or a Bachelor degree in any field, or at least one year of relevant work experience. \n
- Good computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office and inventory management software. \n
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail when recording stock movements and conducting stocktakes. \n
- Ability to safely handle and move heavy building materials. \n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and site teams. \n
- Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. \n
