MECHANIC
Job Description
We are Auckland based company and looking for a full time Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality customer service. Your Working hours will be minimum of 30 hours to maximum 45 hours from Monday – Friday. You may require working on weekends and public holidays.
\nJob Duties for Mechanic:
\n· Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
\n· Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions
\n· Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly.
\n· Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.
\n· Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested.
\n· Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
\n· May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.
\n· Performing basic automotive care, including changing oil, and rotating tires
\n· Must be physical fit.
\n· May respond to vehicle breakdown service calls.
\nKey Requirements:
\n· To be successful you must have 2 years of relevant Work Experience or at least Level 5 or higher diploma qualification (Subject Area Flexible)
\n· Be able to work well with in a team environment.
\n· Be honest and reliable.
\n· Be self-motivated and efficient in work procedures.
\n· Be quick and accurate when carrying out duties.
\n· Have good communication skills, listen, and follow instructions.
\n· Be punctual and be able to work extra hours when required.
\n· Clean Character Background
\nSalary can be negotiated as per your experience level between $30 to $38 per hour.
