Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and committed Truck Driver to join our team based in Auckland.

The duties of this position are:

• Relevant one year work experience or relevant qualification
\n
• Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
\n
• Loading and unloading vechiles using lifting and tipping devices
\n
• Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
\n
• Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
\n
• Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
\n
• Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
\n
• Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods, and obtaining certification of deliveries
\n
• Geographical knowledge of the region preferred
\n
• Applicant should be physically fit
\n
• Valid license
\n
• Mandatory drug test
\n
• Must consent to mandatory police check
\n

Applicant must be able to do flexible working hours, including weekends, late nights aansd public holdiays as the role requires.

Salary range is $26.00-$30.00 per hour
