Yard Metal Buyer/ Operator

\n Phoenix Metal Recyclers is seeking a Yard Metal Buyer / Processor to join our friendly and hardworking team at our Levin Yard.

You’ll be a key part of our recycling operations, sorting metals, engaging with customers, and helping keep our yard safe, efficient, and well organised.
\n What you’ll be doing:
\n *Sorting & identifying scrap metal accurately for processing
\n *Buying scrap metal and dealing directly with customers
\n *Delivering excellent customer service and building positive relationships
\n *Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
\n *Working closely with the team to meet daily operational needs
\n *Following health & safety procedures at all times
\n What we’re looking for:
\n *Experience in a scrap metal, recycling, or yard-based role is an advantage (but training provided for the right person)
\n *A friendly, customer-focused attitude
\n *Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
\n *Good communication skills and a team-player mindset
\n *Commitment to health, safety, and safe manual handling
\n *Physically fit and comfortable working in an outdoor environment
