Job Description
\nDuties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
\n• Plan, build, configure and provide ongoing support for the company's database
\n management systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements across trading,
\n inventory, CRM and finance functions.
\n • Develop and maintain the underlying database architecture, including data
\n structures, tables, data dictionaries and naming conventions, so that master data
\n covering products, customers, suppliers and transactions remains accurate and
\n complete.
\n • Establish and operate routine backup, archival and disaster-recovery procedures,
\n and enforce security and data-integrity controls to protect commercially sensitive
\n trading data.
\n • Define and roll out database documentation, operating guidelines, standards and procedures, and ensure they are consistently followed across internal teams and
\n external partners.
\n • Carry out testing of new database systems and upgrades — including debugging,
\n issue reproduction, logging, tracking and resolution — in accordance with approved
\n quality-assurance scripts and processes.
\n • Monitor and tune database performance and capacity on an ongoing basis, identify
\n bottlenecks, and plan for future expansion as transaction volumes and overseas
\n business grow.
\n • Design, coordinate and implement security measures — including access controls,
\n encryption and audit trails — to safeguard the database environment from internal
\n and external risks.
\n • Liaise with business stakeholders, overseas branches and external software vendors
\n to translate business needs into database requirements, and support the integration
\n of databases with trading, ERP and reporting platforms.
\n • Prepare management reports, dashboards and ad-hoc data extracts to support
\n commercial decision-making in pricing, sourcing, inventory and customer
\n management.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

\n administration, data management or closely related ICT project delivery, ideally
\n within a multi-branch or cross-border business environment.
\n • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating ICT and data system
\n implementation projects through the full delivery lifecycle, including requirements
\n analysis, vendor management and user acceptance.
\n • Proven ability to design and maintain data governance frameworks, data quality
\n monitoring and master data structures.
