Commercial Cleaner

We are looking for a commercial cleaner in Rotorua to start at the earliest!

We require an experienced commercial cleaner to join our team.

This role requires early morning to late evening cleaning shifts at various sites (6 am - 12 am) within Rotorua area.

**You must pass both drug and criminal checks. You must be physically fit as lifting is involved. After our business’s mandatory training, you should be able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and general cleaning duties.
\n * Cleaning surfaces, fixtures, fittings, and high-touch areas.
\n * Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
\n * Restocking consumables and cleaning supplies.
\n * Performing deep cleaning and periodic maintenance tasks.
\n * Operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and polishers.
\n * Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting stock requirements.
\n * Following workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
\n * Ensuring client premises are maintained to a high professional standard.

Skills and Experience:

* At least 3 to 6 months of relevant commercial or industrial cleaning experience

Additional Requirements:

* Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties.
\n * Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n * Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and split shifts where required by operational needs.
\n * Full Class1 Driver Licence is preferred or someone willing to have it completed in 6 months as the work requires the individual to travel to different locations within the Rotorua area.
\n * Access to reliable transport if they do not have a full Class 1 Driver Licence, as employees may be required to travel between multiple commercial sites within Rotorua.
\n * Ability to pass police vetting and drug and alcohol screening where required.
\n * Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards.

* Work may be carried out across various commercial sites within the Rotorua area.
\n * Training and equipment will be provided.
\n * Uniform and personal protective equipment will be supplied.
\n * Applicants must be committed to workplace health and safety requirements and delivering quality cleaning services.

Pay rate between $24.00 to $27/hour for the right candidate. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work every week and a maximum of 40 hours.
