Position Overview
\n We are seeking 2 motivated and experienced Retail Managers to oversee the daily
\n operations of our dairy superette and electronic cigarette/vaping business in
\n the Auckland region.
\n The successful candidate will be responsible for managing retail operations,
\n coordinating sale activities, achieving sales targets, supervising staff, managing
\n inventory, maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring excellent customer service
\n standards.
\n This role is suitable for someone with strong retail management skills, knowledge of
\n convenience store operations and the ability to manage a fast-paced retail and
\n wholesale environment.

Key Responsibilities
\n  Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the daily operations of the dairy superette
\n and Vaping business.
\n  Manage overall retail store performance, including sales operations, customer
\n service, stock availability and business growth activities.
\n  Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability and
\n customer service targets.
\n  Monitor business performance, prepare sales reports, manage budgets and
\n control operational expenses.
\n  Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate retail staff to ensure efficient operations
\n and high standards of customer service.
\n  Prepare staff rosters, allocate daily duties, monitor attendance and ensure
\n effective workforce management.
\n  Manage inventory levels, purchasing, stock ordering, receiving, storage, stock
\n rotation and regular stocktakes.
\n  Coordinate the supply of operations for electronic cigarette and vaping
\n products, ensuring accurate ordering, distribution and stock management.
\n  Maintain relationships with suppliers, wholesalers and distributors regarding
\n product availability, pricing, promotions and supply arrangements.
\n  Monitor product demand, customer preferences and market trends to improve
\n sales opportunities and business performance.
\n  Oversee retail sales of dairy products, convenience items, electronic cigarette
\n and vaping products in accordance with company policies and applicable
\n regulations.
\n  Ensure accurate processing of sales transactions, refunds, exchanges and cashhandling
\n procedures.
\n  Manage customer enquiries, complaints and service issues, providing
\n appropriate resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
\n  Maintain merchandising standards, product displays, promotional activities and
\n store presentation.
\n  Coordinate customer orders, maintain client relationships and
\n support timely product delivery.
\n  Maintain accurate records relating to sales, inventory, supplier transactions,
\n customer accounts and business operations.
\n  Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, privacy
\n obligations, security procedures and company policies.
\n  Identify opportunities for business improvement, expansion and increased
\n profitability.
\n  Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers.

Requirements
\n The successful applicant should have:
\n  A Diploma Level 5 or higher qualification OR
\n  Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail management/ sales/ administration/
\n wholesale operations or a related field.
