Retail Manager

We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations, drive sales, and ensure outstanding customer service.

· Title: Retail Manager

· Hourly rate : $35 - $38 depending on experience

· Minimum Hours: 30 Per week

· Location: Mt Roskill, Auckland

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient

· functioning.

· Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales and profitability.

· Set sales targets, store budget levels, analyse sales data, and identify areas for

· improvement.

· Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

· Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, loss prevention measures,

· merchandising, and financial transactions.

· Develop and execute purchasing strategies and build relationships with suppliers

· to ensure competitive pricing and quality products

· Responsible for determining pricing, and marketing strategies, including store

· displays and promotions, social media, events etc

· Ensure compliance with company and government policies, procedures, and Safety standards.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with Staff , customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback and complaints.

Requirements:

· 2 years’ experience or Level 4 Qualifications.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· A solid understanding of sales, customer service, and inventory management.

· Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks.
