About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi\nWe have an opportunity for a technically strong Senior Business Analyst to join the BA Practice in Change Delivery, with a focus on platform initiatives however you will be part of a wider practice and may be required to support non-technical programmes over time. You’ll work across business and technology teams to translate complex platform, process, data, integration and operational needs into clear, practical delivery outcomes.
\nYou will support change across ACC’s platform and systems environment, including Oracle Cloud, ERP/SCM, Redwood, platform modernisation, stability, compliance and service improvement work. This hands-on role will help bring structure and clarity from discovery through design, build, test, implementation and transition to business as usual.
\nThis is a permanent full-time opportunity, within the Change Delivery team, based in Wellington, for someone who enjoys working across both business and technology domains, can navigate ambiguity with confidence, and wants to contribute to a supportive and maturing BA practice.
What you’ll be doing\n- \n

Lead business and technical analysis for platform initiatives from discovery through to implementation.

Define problems, scope, requirements, options, dependencies, risks, impacts and success measures with business and technology stakeholders.
\n - \n
Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data considerations and decision-support material.
\n - \n
Support Oracle design discussions by connecting business process needs with platform capability, configuration, integration and operational considerations.
\n - \n
Assess impacts across processes, roles, reporting, data flows, controls, compliance, user experience and downstream systems.

Work with Architects, Oracle, Service Now and cloud specialists, vendors, testers and delivery teams to maintain traceability through design, build, test and implementation.

Support backlog refinement, delivery planning, UAT preparation, defect triage and implementation readiness in Agile, waterfall or hybrid environments.

You’ll be an experienced Senior Business Analyst who is confident working in complex enterprise platform environments and comfortable translating technical information into clear business language.
\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring:

Significant BA experience in complex technology or integrated platform environments.

Experience with Oracle platform initiatives, such as Oracle Cloud, ERP, SCM, Redwood, upgrades, migration or platform enhancement work is advantageous.

Strong requirements, process, data, reporting and integration analysis skills.
\n - \n
Confidence working with Architects, technical teams, vendors, testers, Product Owners and business SMEs.
\n - \n
Strong facilitation and communication skills, including use of Jira and Confluence to support delivery.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $101,287 and $131,077 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
