About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi\nAs a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for creating high-quality solution architecture that aligns with ACC’s organisational and IT strategy. Working within Product Teams and across technology and business stakeholders, you will design scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions that support ACC’s evolving platforms and services.
\nYou will play an important role in translating business needs into practical architecture outcomes, ensuring solutions are robust, secure, and aligned with ACC’s architecture standards and direction while contributing to ongoing improvement and innovation.
\nYou’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering architecture solutions that meet business needs and enable effective service delivery, contributing to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
\nThe appointing salary for this role is $117,787 – $166,288 based on experience ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect within enterprise or complex technology environments. \n
- Experience working in complex environments such as health, insurance, or government sectors. \n
- Experience designing and delivering end-to-end technology solutions across multiple domains. \n
- Strong understanding of architecture principles, patterns, standards, and governance. \n
- Experience developing architecture artefacts such as solution designs, diagrams, and technical documentation. \n
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, practical architecture solutions. \n
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams. \n
- Ability to quickly understand new technologies, systems, and business contexts. \n
- Experience working within a structured or mature architecture practice. \n
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. \n
- You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application. \n
