\n Are you mechanically minded, hands‑on, and looking for a stable role with long‑term potential?
\n Our client, a well‑established games and puzzle manufacturer in Avondale, is looking for a reliable Machine Operator to join their production team.
\n This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with machinery, and being part of a tight‑knit workshop environment.
About the Role
\n You’ll be operating production machinery used to manufacture board games, puzzles, and specialty cardboard products. The equipment is older and can be temperamental at times, so a good mechanical aptitude is essential. You’ll also assist across packing and warehouse areas when needed, so flexibility is key.
\n This is a full‑time, Monday to Friday, 40‑hour role, starting on a temporary basis with excellent prospects to go permanent as workloads continue to grow.
\n What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating and maintaining production machinery
  • \n
  • Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
  • \n
  • Handling and moving large stacks of cardboard (must be physically fit)
  • \n
  • Assisting with packing, dispatch, and general warehouse duties
  • \n
  • Following production schedules and quality standards
  • \n
  • Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organised
  • \n

  • Someone with strong mechanical aptitude
  • \n
  • Experience in print bindery, print machine operation, or similar machinery is ideal
  • \n
  • Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting
  • \n
  • A practical, hands‑on worker who enjoys variety
  • \n
  • Reliable, punctual, friendly and able to work well in a small team
  • \n
  • Able to start ASAP
