Job Description
We are looking for three experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.
\nRequirements
\nThe successful applicants must have one of the following requirements.
\n• At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR
\n• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification) OR
\n• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand.
\nJob Descriptions
\n• Use the Thai massage technique to massage the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments
\n• Use Thai massage techniques to enhance sports performance, prevent injury, and assist in healing
\n• Provide body treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension
\n• Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice
\n• Assess a client's physical condition and case history and advise on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques
\n• Use other techniques that are suitable to help with the customer’s recovery
\n• Prepare oil and other equipment for the massage
\nOther detail
\n• Three full-time, permanent positions are available.
\n• The hourly wage will be between $27 and $35, depending on the applicant’s relevant experience and skills. Wages will be paid weekly.
\n• Holiday pay and sick leave will be provided in accordance with New Zealand employment law.
\n• Each employee will be primarily based at one of the following branches, as discussed and agreed before commencing employment:

- 4/9 Nelson Quay, Ahuriri, Napier, New Zealand \n
- 2/11 Joll Road, Havelock North 4130, New Zealand \n
• Where an employee is required to work temporarily or permanently at the other branch, this will be discussed and agreed with the employee in advance.
\n• Employees will work five to six days per week according to a roster. A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed, with a maximum of 48 hours per week.
