Thai Massage Therapists

We are looking for three experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.

Requirements

The successful applicants must have one of the following requirements.

• At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification) OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand.

Job Descriptions

• Use the Thai massage technique to massage the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments

• Use Thai massage techniques to enhance sports performance, prevent injury, and assist in healing

• Provide body treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension

• Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice

• Assess a client's physical condition and case history and advise on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques

• Use other techniques that are suitable to help with the customer’s recovery

• Prepare oil and other equipment for the massage

Other detail

• Three full-time, permanent positions are available.

• The hourly wage will be between $27 and $35, depending on the applicant’s relevant experience and skills. Wages will be paid weekly.

• Holiday pay and sick leave will be provided in accordance with New Zealand employment law.

• Each employee will be primarily based at one of the following branches, as discussed and agreed before commencing employment:

• 2/11 Joll Road, Havelock North 4130, New Zealand

• Where an employee is required to work temporarily or permanently at the other branch, this will be discussed and agreed with the employee in advance.

• Employees will work five to six days per week according to a roster. A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed, with a maximum of 48 hours per week.
