Class 4 Driver (Metro)

We are looking for a Class 4 Driver for our client in East Christchurch.
<\/p>

Duties include but are not limited to:
<\/p>\n

\n
• Operating Class 4 hook truck, Class 4 front loader truck and class 2 rear loader truck
  <\/span><\/li>\n
• Collecting waste from client sites (no curbside pick up)
  <\/span><\/li>\n
• Returning and tipping truck to unload
  <\/span><\/li>\n
• Flexible to do yard work on site if required \- operating loader or modified forklift<\/span>
  <\/li>\n <\/ul>

  Requirements are:
  <\/p>\n

  \n
  • Class 4 license (truck is fully automatic)
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Preferably waste \/ hook \/ front load \/ rear load truck experience (training provided for right candidate)
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Preferably experience in the recycling \/ waste industry (training provided for right candidate)
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of Christchurch roads to navigate
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Tech savvy to operate in truck computer systems
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Physically fit for manual labouring as needed (lifting up to 15kg)
    \-> e.g. entering and exiting trucks safely regularly, on site operation of machinery, moving bins
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Beneficial F endorsement and W endorsement (for on\-site yard work)
    \-> Experience operating Forklift or Loader
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Right to work in New Zealand & contactable references
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Ability to pass drug test, MOJ Case by case
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Reliable and own transportation to get to and from work
    <\/span><\/li>\n <\/ul>

    We offer:

    • Pay $28 \- $32\/hr
      \-> Pay depending on skills, experience and endorsements
      <\/span><\/li>\n
    • 8% holiday pay
      <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Monday to Friday, 6am start
      \-> Earlier start and finish on Fridays
      <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Temp to perm OR permanent opportunity (depending on candidate)
