About the Role: Are you ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We’re looking for a full-time permanent Fleet Team Leader to join our NZ Rentals team, based in Auckland. This is your chance to make a real impact by driving performance, productivity, and efficiency in vehicle movement, ensuring our fleet is always in the right place at the right time. What You’ll Do: Lead day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring smooth workflows and minimal delays for customers. Manage vehicle logistics, compliance renewals, and repairs to maintain operational excellence. Maintain and update fleet reports, assignments, and compliance workflows. Attend fleet and scheduling meetings to optimize vehicle positioning and repair focus. Implement strategies to enhance customer and crew satisfaction. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving. Assist with training new team members and support Front of House when needed. Champion health and safety practices, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Must be available to work weekends and public holidays. The roster will be 4 days per week, with 10-hour shifts. Experience: Proven leadership in fleet, logistics, or transportation, with expertise in vehicle movement, scheduling, and compliance. Skills: Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. Attention to detail and adaptability are a must.
