Experienced Landscaper/Team leader

Ridge Projects – Wellington Central, North Island We are looking for a level 4 qualified landscaper or experienced foreperson to help deliver a 5-6month project we are working on in Wainuiomata. The contract will be fixed term with the option to stay on if our pipeline of work extends further into the new year. The administrative side of the job will be handled from the office. Material deliveries and subcontractor management will be handled by the office. You will play a key role in carrying out the work on site with support from the owner/director, capable apprentices, and other qualified landscapers. We are a landscape construction company based in the Wellington region with a packed work schedule into 2027. If our work pipeline continues to grow there will be an option to come on as permanent or extend your contract from January 2027. The salary is negotiable and will depend on your experience, but as a minimum we would like you to have: Either a formal landscaping qualification, or 5+ years experience on the tools Understanding of H&S practices on light-commercial sites A track record of running landscape construction jobs or building sites with at least 1 person working under you A full drivers licence and your own vehicle or ability to get to site A full power tool kit to allow you to carry out your work to a high standard Experience working on installing playgrounds/play equipment will be a huge bonus Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
