This is an opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives, partnering with senior leaders to strengthen enterprise risk capability and help shape long term organisational outcomes. Your new role This is a strategic leadership position focused on enterprise risk rather than operational or health and safety risk. You'll partner with senior executives to facilitate meaningful risk conversations, provide insight into organisational risks and controls, and help embed a proactive risk culture across the business. While you will lead a small team, success in this role is driven by your ability to influence, communicate and provide strategic advice at the executive level. This is an in-office role. Responsibilities Lead the organisation's enterprise risk management framework and continuous improvement initiatives. Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and provide strategic risk advice. Facilitate executive risk workshops and discussions across the organisation. Develop and maintain enterprise risk and control frameworks. Analyse emerging risks and provide practical insights to support decision making. Oversee risk reporting, monitoring and assurance activities. Guide a team of experienced risk professionals and support their development. Strong understanding of risk frameworks, controls and governance. Excellent presentation skills with confidence presenting to Senior Leadership Teams and executive stakeholders. Ability to influence, challenge constructively and communicate complex concepts with clarity. Experience facilitating strategic risk discussions and driving organisational outcomes. A commercial and pragmatic approach to risk, with a focus beyond compliance. Relevant qualifications in risk management, audit, governance or a related discipline would be advantageous. Previous people leadership is beneficial but not essential, as leadership capability can be developed. The priority is strategic risk expertise and executive presence.
