About the Role As a Senior Sonographer, you will: Deliver high-quality ultrasound examinations across a broad range of clinical presentations Provide leadership, guidance, and support to colleagues within the sonography team Build strong working relationships with radiologists, referrers, and multidisciplinary teams Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate and professional care Support quality improvement initiatives and best‑practice clinical standards Help foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous development About You We're looking for an experienced Sonographer who is passionate about patient care and enjoys supporting the development of others. You will bring: Current registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and a valid Annual Practising Certificate Strong clinical ultrasound experience and a commitment to excellence The ability to work confidently both independently and within multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills A patient‑focused approach and genuine empathy for those in your care Sound judgement, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure A flexible, positive, and collaborative attitude A strong understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality, and professional ethics What's in it for You?
