Do you pride yourself on your customer service? Do you want to work in one of Auckland’s premier culture and heritage destinations? We are seeking two friendly and professional people to join us on a permanent basis (Weekends and 3 Rostered Week Days) as a front of house staff member within our Visitor Services team. As a guide host you will meet, greet and interact with visitors to ensure all visitors have a positive and safe museum experience. You will be part of the team that deliver tours to our visitors and assist with the delivery of our Public Programme, including our popular holiday activities, supporting education and events. You will also process sales, maintain records and stock at the Museum Shop. If you have excellent communication skills and love to interact with customers, have an interest in Naval or Military History and /or experience in the tourism or museum sector and want to be part of our team then we would like to hear from you. The Navy Museum exists to preserve, interpret and share the story of the Royal New Zealand Navy across time. Fostering understanding, recognition and connection among the people of Aotearoa New Zealand, and the Navy’s contribution to our nation, the pacific and the world.
