Job Description
Lifestream has been a pioneer in plant-based nutrition for over 40 years. Since 1980, we've been on a mission to help Kiwis and people around the world achieve health and wellness through pure, plant-based, highly bioavailable wholefood formulas — sourced from spirulina, chlorella, aloe vera, ancient herbs, and other natural ingredients. We are entering an exciting growth phase and are hiring a Brand Manager to lead our mother & baby and kids' nutrition sub-line (Lifemum™ and Kids ranges). This is a hands-on brand management role, not a coordination or admin seat. You will own the brand end-to-end — from consumer insight and positioning through to new product launch and in-market execution — with your work visible across New Zealand and international markets. If you believe great brands are built on purpose, science, and story — and that plant-based nutrition can change lives — this role is for you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead end-to-end brand strategy for the Lifestream Lifemum™ (women's care, including pre/post-natal) and Kids nutrition portfolio, across New Zealand and global markets Build and execute the annual brand plan: positioning, messaging architecture, campaign concepts, and channel mix Own the 0→1 launch playbook for new SKUs — from consumer insight and concept testing through to shelf-ready execution Partner with R&D, regulatory, and trade marketing to bring products to market on time, on brief, and on budget Track brand health metrics (awareness, consideration, NPS, market share) and translate consumer insights into brand actions Manage brand P&L, pricing strategy, and promotional calendar Manage external creative, media, and PR agency partners Contribute to Lifestream's global growth initiatives as part of the wider brand leadership team SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Must-have: 3+ years of brand management experience in FMCG, nutrition, health & wellness, or a closely related consumer category (in‑house or agency) Track record of launching products and building brand equity from concept to market Strong project management skills — able to juggle timelines, stakeholders, and budgets without dropping balls Sharp commercial instinct: comfortable with P&L, pricing, and trade marketing conversations Excellent written and verbal communication in English A genuine interest in wellness, plant-based nutrition, and sustainability Nice-to-have: Experience in mother & baby or kids' consumer categories Background in plant-based, organic, or natural product categories Exposure to New Zealand, Australian, or Asia-Pacific consumer markets Experience working with cross‑functional global teams WHAT WE OFFER Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience Hybrid working from our Auckland HQ (Mount Eden) A chance to shape a 40+ year heritage brand's next chapter International exposure across ANZ, Asia, and global markets Budget for professional development and industry events #J-18808-Ljbffr
