Shopfloor Team Member - The Warehouse, Taupo (Casual)

We are seeking a reliable and organised Shopfloor Team Member to join our warehouse operations at The Warehouse in Taupō, New Zealand. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our shopfloor runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our team in delivering excellent service to our customers. You will be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a casual role with no fixed hours of working. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and process incoming stock and merchandise with accuracy and care Organise and store products in designated areas, ensuring proper labelling and inventory control Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and organised shopfloor environment at all times Operate warehouse equipment safely, including trolleys and lifting equipment where appropriate Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to management Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies Support team members and collaborate effectively to meet daily targets Assist with stock rotation and ensure products are displayed according to company standards Report any damage, safety hazards, or operational issues promptly Requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks Excellent time keeping and reliability Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment Good people skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Physical capability to lift, carry, and move stock regularly Basic numeracy skills for inventory and stock management Willingness to follow procedures and company policies Desirable Desirable: Previous warehouse or shopfloor experience Desirable: Forklift licence or willingness to obtain certification Desirable: Knowledge of health and safety practices in warehouse environments Desirable: Experience with inventory management systems Tā mātou tāpaetanga - What we offer Team Card: Access to discounts across our brands.
