About the Roles We're excited to be gearing up to construct the Ruakākā Solar Farm and are looking for motivated people to join our team! Available roles are fixed-term (approx.4-6 months), working full-time hours, Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday as requested. Job Description General Hand (Entry Level) Support daily construction activities through hands-on work and teamwork. Duties: Carry-out manual labour (lifting, digging, assembling, etc.) Assist with material movement and site preparation Operate hand tools Skills & Experience: Physical fitness and reliability A great attitude and willingness to learn Full NZ Class 1 Licence (preferred) Site experience or tickets (advantageous but not required) Operator Operate machinery and equipment to support solar farm construction. Duties: Safely operate excavators, tractors, skid steers or similar plant Complete pre-start checksand report any issues Assist with manual labour tasks as needed You’ll bring: Proven machinery experience Physical fitness and reliability A great attitude and willingness to learn Full NZ Class 1 & 2 licence Team Leader Lead and work alongside a crew of General Hands and Operators to deliver daily targets safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Duties: Allocate tasks, motivate your team, and lead by example Monitor quality, safety, and progress Communicate clearly with team members and site management Operate tools and machinery (as licenced) Skills & Experience: Leadership experience in construction or civil works Strong communication and a safety-first approach Physical fitness and reliability A great attitude and willingness to learn Full NZ Class 1 Licence (Class 2 and orWTR is advantageous) Supporting Roles We may be on the lookout for Security or Cleaning staff - yet to be confirmed!
