Franklin Smith Group – Blenheim, South Island About the Role My client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer/Manager to join their civil construction team in the Blenheim region. This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of significant 3 Waters infrastructure projects, while enjoying the lifestyle and opportunities the region offers. As a driven and capable Project Manager, you will take full ownership of projects from planning through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll be supported by a collaborative and experienced team in a positive and forward-thinking environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of 3 Waters civil infrastructure projects Manage programme, cost control, forecasting, and reporting Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high performance Drive a strong health and safety culture across all projects Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders Identify and manage project risks and opportunities Ensure projects meet contractual, quality, and compliance requirements Qualifications & Experience New Zealand experiencemanaging civil infrastructure projects end-to-end Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience Strong experience delivering 3 Waters projects (water, wastewater, stormwater) Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain programme certainty What My Client Offers Competitive salary Re location assistance Company vehicle Medical insurance Career progression within a respected infrastructure business Long-term project pipeline providing stability and growth About My Client My client is a dynamic and innovative leader in New Zealand infrastructure, delivering complex 3 Waters and heavy civil projects across the country.
