Full Time Application Closes 26 Aug 2026 Bay of Plenty - Rotorua Chef and Head Cook About The Role As Executive Chef, you'll be responsible for leading Skyline Rotorua's culinary operations and delivering exceptional food experiences that complement our world-class attractions. Reporting directly to the General Manager and working in close partnership with the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll provide strategic leadership across our kitchen operations while ensuring a seamless guest experience across all hospitality offerings. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll inspire and develop your team, drive culinary innovation, maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and ensure strong commercial performance across all food and beverage outlets and events. We're looking for an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, builds high‑performing teams, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. The Perfect Candidate Will Bring Proven experience in a senior culinary leadership role such as Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Executive Sous Chef, Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, food and wage costs, A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build effective relationships across departments, Experience leading large, diverse teams in a high‑volume hospitality environment, A passion for mentoring, coaching and developing people, Excellent planning, organisation and problem‑solving skills, Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety and compliance requirements, Creativity, innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
