About the Role We areseekingadynamic andskilled Physiotherapist with a passion forrehabilitation andexcellent patient care, withleadershipexperience or interest, to join ourInpatient Rehabilitation teamatHealth New Zealand /TeWhatu Ora Waitematā. This is a part-timerolein whichyou will be working alongsideanestablished inter-disciplinary team(IDT),providinginpatientrehabilitationtopatientsin order tofacilitateindependence, quality of life and discharge home. This role is a leadership role, supporting theinpatient rehabilitation physiotherapists in theirday to daywork. This role works in partnership withother senior physiotherapists as well as with otherseniorclinicians in the in IDTto ensure service provision is effective,efficientand quality care and outcomes are achieved. About the Team/Service/ Location Theinpatient rehabilitation team provides best practice rehabilitation,through a patient centred approach, toadultpatients on ourAssessment,Treatment & Rehabilitation,and IntegratedStrokeUnitwards. The work covers an array of conditions including patients with orthopaedic, neurological, and general medical conditions who require rehabilitation andwho oftenalso have complex social and discharge planning needs.You will be providing ongoing assessment andgoal focusedrehabilitationand will use standardised outcome measures (Functional Independence Measure andinterRAI) todemonstratequality patient outcomes.
