YewaHouse Education Ltd – Auckland, North Island Primary English Teacher (Part-time / Casual) About Us Yewahouse Education is a growing education provider dedicated to helping students build strong academic foundations and confidence. We specialise in Novel Study, English Reading & Writing, Science, and enrichment programmes for primary and intermediate students. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Primary English Teacher to join our team and inspire young learners. About the Role As a Primary English Teacher, you will deliver engaging Novel Study, Reading & Writing lessons for students from Years 3–6. You will work with small class sizes in a supportive environment, helping students develop strong literacy skills while fostering a love of learning. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective Novel Study, Reading & Writing lessons. Plan and prepare high-quality teaching materials. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive, supportive and engaging classroom environment. Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress. Work collaboratively with our teaching team to maintain high educational standards. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience teaching English and literacy to primary-aged students. Excellent spoken and written English. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A genuine passion for teaching and supporting student success. The ability to motivate and engage young learners. Availability to work after school and/or on weekends. Highly Desirable Experience teaching in a private school. Familiarity with the New Zealand Curriculum, Cambridge, IB, or other international curricula. A recognised teaching qualification or relevant degree.
