Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 24/08/2026, End Date: 16/12/2026 (Roll Growth) Primary and intermediate (Years 1-8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts "Everything we do is for the good of our learners" Due to continued roll growth, we are excited to be opening an additional Year 0 classroom for the remainder of 2026 and are seeking an outstanding long term relieving Year 0 (new entrant) teacher to join our TAPS team. We are looking for someone who shares our belief that every child deserves high quality, evidence informed teaching from their very first day of school. TAPS is an explicit instructional school. We have well established, school wide approaches that provide consistency, clarity and success for our learners. Our non-negotiables are in place because they make the greatest difference to our TAPS learners. As a Year 0 teacher, you will be expected to deliver the 6 month curriculum of the refreshed NZC to provide our youngest learners with a strong foundation to schooling. We are looking for someone who: Believes every child can succeed through high expectations and explicit teaching. Is committed to implementing our established school-wide approaches with fidelity Is reflective, open to coaching, and committed to continual professional growth.
