Job Description
We have an exciting fixed-termopportunity for a Resource Consents Planner – Monitoring to join ourteam (until 31 December 2027). This role offers a unique blend of resourceconsent monitoring, compliance, enforcement, consent processing, and customerengagement, making it an excellent development opportunity for someone lookingto broaden their experience within the planning and regulatory environment. You'll work across the district toensure resource consent conditions are being met, investigate complaints,provide advice to customers and stakeholders, and process land use consents.You'll be part of a collaborative team committed to supporting sustainabledevelopment and positive community outcomes. Your key responsibilities willinclude: Monitoring and auditing compliance withresource consent conditions. Investigating District Plan complaints andresponding to incidents. Resolving non-compliance through appropriateenforcement tools. Reviewing and processing resource consentapplications. Undertaking site visits and preparingprofessional planning reports. Providing practical advice to applicants,developers, consultants, and the community. Building effective relationships with internaland external stakeholders. Contributing to continuous improvement ofmonitoring, compliance, and enforcement systems and practices.
