Carpenter

You'll be involved in a variety of carpentry tasks across residential renovations, alterations, maintenance, and insurance repair work. Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to use your skills across a wide range of residential building work. Key responsibilities Residential renovations, alterations and maintenance Insurance repair work Demolition and reinstatement Installing wall and ceiling linings Fitting kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows and finishing joinery Decks, fencing and exterior repairs Working alongside subcontractors and other trades Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service About you Be a qualified or highly experienced carpenter Have solid knowledge of residential building methods and materials Be confident working independently as well as part of a team Enjoy problem-solving and thinking on your feetTake pride in producing quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail Be reliable, motivated and take ownership of your work Hold a full New Zealand Driver Licence Be confident using a smartphone and job management software Have a comprehensive set of trade tools Have the legal right to work in New Zealand Competitive remuneration Company vehicle A wide variety of projects A supportive, family-oriented team environment Long-term job security with a respected Christchurch building company About us RC Jamieson Builders is a well-established Christchurch building company with a reputation for quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
