Digital Infrastructure Lead

We're looking for an experienced Digital Infrastructure Lead to join our high-performing Digital team. Reporting to the Digital Operations Manager, this newly created role will play a key part in driving CentrePort's infrastructure strategy and supporting the organisation's continued growth and digital transformation. This is an on-site position based in Wellington. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing effective line management and staff development Owning the design, delivery and ongoing evolution of CentrePort's cloud and infrastructure platforms Contributing to CentrePort's digital strategy and technology roadmap Managing relationships with a broad range of technology vendors Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable end-to-end technology services Providing technical oversight and solution design guidance across cloud and infrastructure initiatives To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated people leadership experience through line management and/or leading technical projects A strong background in IT infrastructure and enterprise technologies Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and related technologies, including Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration An understanding of solution architecture principles and the ability to provide architectural guidance throughout solution delivery Experience managing technology vendors and third-party service providers Experience working with, or partnering closely on, cybersecurity initiatives Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and Networking, firewalls and related tools (DNS, DHCP) will be highly regarded The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently when required About CentrePort CentrePort is a modern port and logistics business based in Wellington, serving the needs of Aotearoa New Zealand.
