We're partnering with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to step into a high-impact contract where you'll bring structure, governance, and visibility to a complex programme of work. This isn't a traditional delivery role. It's an opportunity to assess an evolving programme, establish practical project management disciplines, and implement sustainable governance that will leave a lasting legacy. If you're someone who enjoys walking into ambiguity, quickly making sense of competing priorities, and building fit-for-purpose processes that enable successful delivery, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll be doing: Assess the current programme and identify opportunities to improve delivery. Develop and maintain an integrated programme plan across multiple workstreams. Establish practical governance, reporting, and project management frameworks. Coordinate milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and key decisions. Facilitate programme meetings, workshops, and governance forums. Build reporting dashboards that provide meaningful visibility to stakeholders. Improve stakeholder alignment, communication, and programme coordination. Deliver practical tools, templates, and documentation that can be adopted long after your engagement ends. About you: You'll be an experienced Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager who thrives in complex environments and has a reputation for bringing order where it's needed most. You'll bring: Extensive experience leading complex programmes or transformation initiatives. A strong background establishing governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks. Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills. Proven experience implementing practical project management processes and controls. Strong planning, organisational, and problem‑solving capabilities. The ability to quickly understand complex environments and drive clarity, alignment, and accountability. A collaborative, pragmatic approach with a focus on delivering sustainable improvements. Experience working within research, insights, evaluation, or public sector environments would be advantageous but is not essential. Why this role? This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping how an important programme is managed, improving visibility for senior stakeholders, reducing delivery risk, and leaving behind robust governance and delivery practices that will support long‑term success. If you're a contractor who enjoys creating structure from complexity and helping organisations lift programme maturity, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
