At Unispace, we're looking for an Interior Designer to join our Christchurch studio and help deliver some of New Zealand's most exciting workplace projects for global brands, fast-growing businesses and industry leaders. This is an opportunity for a designer who wants more than producing drawings. You'll join a globally recognised design-and-build business operating across 48 studios worldwide, where design excellence, commercial thinking and client impact carry equal weight. Why this role? What you'll be doing Lead exceptional workplace projects Drive workplace and commercial interior projects from concept through construction. Develop compelling design narratives and innovative workplace strategies. Deliver highly creative, commercially successful design solutions. Present concepts confidently to clients and senior stakeholders. Become a trusted client advisor Build strong relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Lead workshops, presentations and design reviews. Translate client challenges into thoughtful, high-impact design solutions. Collaborate across the business Work closely with Design, Construction, Delivery and Business Development teams. Coordinate with consultants including MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and structural disciplines. Ensure design intent is maintained throughout delivery. Mentor and inspire Support and develop junior designers. Foster creativity, innovation and design excellence across the studio. Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture where great ideas thrive. What we're looking for You'll likely bring: Proven experience delivering workplace, commercial or corporate interior projects. Strong design leadership and client-facing capability. Excellent concept development, space planning and storytelling skills. Experience producing and reviewing detailed construction documentation. Advanced proficiency in Revit and associated design tools. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. A passion for creating workplaces that are both beautiful and commercially effective.
