DIVISIONAL SERVICES AND ADMINISTRATION | WHAKARATOKA ME NGĀ WHAKARITEKA Ā-WĀHAKA DIVISION OF HEALTH SCIENCES | TE TAUTARINUI The role | Te mahi We’re looking for multiple organised and proactive Administrators to provide high level, generalist and administration support within our Division of Health Sciences. One vacancy will support the Dean and Head of Region in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine - Dunedin. The other will be based within our Pathology Department. You’ll be a trusted and reliable team member who brings initiative, clarity and a strong sense of ownership to your work. Responsibilities may include: Managing calendars and inboxes. Organising travel arrangements. Coordinating and tracking approvals. Meeting and committee support. Administration support for expressions of interest, academic promotions, research & study leave. Transactional finance. Contributing to Faculty- and Department-wide initiatives. Comfortable balancing competing priorities, you build strong connections, communicate effectively, and help ensure operations run smoothly. Other key skills you will need are: Excellent attention to detail and able to consistently deliver accurate, quality work. High level diary management, correspondence, and meeting administration. Ability to build positive, trusted relationships through a professional and approachable style. Flexibility, able to operate in an environment with changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively. Self-directed and can manage time well, be highly organised. Further details | Pūroko We have two one year, fixed term positions available in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. Please state your position preference in your cover letter: One full-time (37.5 hours per week). One part-time (26.25 hours per week). The appointment range is $63,508 to 68,185. Top of the range is $73,640. You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for these positions.
