Project Manager

Our client is a well-established civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality infrastructure and civil construction projects throughout the region. With a significant pipeline of secured work and continued growth on the horizon, they are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their Queenstown team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with site crews and senior management, and taking ownership of projects from planning through to successful delivery. You'll be joining an energetic, hardworking team that values collaboration, quality workmanship, and getting the job done right. What You'll Be Doing Managing the delivery of civil construction projects from start to finish Leading and supporting site teams, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers Coordinating project programmes, resources, and daily site activities Monitoring budgets, project costs, and financial performance Reading plans and specifications and ensuring work is delivered to design requirements Overseeing quality assurance, project documentation, and reporting Maintaining strong health, safety, and environmental standards Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard What You'll Bring 3+ years' experience in a Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role within civil construction Experience delivering civil infrastructure, earthworks, roading, or drainage projects Strong leadership skills and the ability to get the best out of site teams Sound commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and costs Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and willingness to lead from the front Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within the civil construction sector Relevant civil construction, engineering, or project management qualifications are advantageous What's on Offer Good salary depending on experience Company vehicle A strong forward workload and long-term job security Diverse and interesting civil construction projects A supportive, hardworking team culture Genuine career progression opportunities with a growing business If you're looking to join a respected civil contractor with plenty of work ahead, a positive team environment, and the opportunity to make your mark on projects across the Queenstown region, we'd love to hear from you!
