Epower Lives as a Health Coach We are seeking a dedicated Health Coach to join our Te Ara Waiora Team in Waipukurau. This is a great role which also includes running our local kaumatua activity programme. This role is 36 hours per week [0.9 FTE]. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm. Part Time Application Closes 10 Aug 2026 Hawkes Bay - Central Hawkes Bay Health Educator Health Coach – Te Ara Waiora CHB About The Role As a Health Coach, you will empower whānau to take charge of their health by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve their personal health goals. Working closely with our Clinical Nurse team you will provide additional support to our whānau to make positive lifestyle changes and improve their health and well-being. This role is also responsible for running our engaging kaumatua programme. This includes planning activities, outings, guest speakers and events for our two weekly kaumatua hui providing much needed support and manaakitanga to kaumatua in our local area. What We Are Looking For Completion of Recognised Health Coach Training [ideally] Certificate in Hauroa/Health, Nutrition, Sport and Recreation or similar field.
