We have a rare opportunity to join our friendly and experienced operating theatre team. As CNS ENT/MaxFax you will provide overall direction and management for this specialty. This exciting and demanding role involves a high level of collaboration with clinicians and the theatre services manager, strategic direction for the ENT/MaxFax team development, and management of specialty equipment (including capital expenditure recommendations). This is a 0.9-1.0 FTE position and will be required to work across the usual shifts spans in Operating Theatre. Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Essential skills/experience for the role: Your passion for high quality perioperative care and clinical expertise will make you stand out, but we know you will also bring more than this to your nursing. You will also: Be a senior Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 year’s leadership experience in this specialty area (essential) Have extensive knowledge and experience in ENT/MaxFax surgical procedures and theatre nursing Have excellent communication skills Passion to grow people with excellent supportive, engaging and positive team skills Have experience in the management of resources required for the provision of excellent service Demonstrate a commitment to professional practice, and professional and personal development Be an excellent communicator, facilitator and advocate for patients A current NZ Nursing Registration and annual practicing certificate (APC) is essential.
