FP&A Business Analyst

With our sights set on the future, we’re looking for an experienced FP&A Business Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed term maternity leave cover contract to help us deliver our strategy and be the world’s number one supplier of premium wool. Description: The Role Do you have a background in financial planning and analysis, financial modelling, and the ability to turn complex data into meaningful business insights? Then look no further for a role where you can have a real impact. As the FP&A Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data-driven decision making across the business. Deliver financial analysis, modelling and insights that support business decision-making. Support budgeting, forecasting and re-projection activities across the business. Prepare leadership dashboards and performance reporting. Identify and communicate key risks, opportunities, trends and financial variances. Develop and maintain financial models, reporting tools and business intelligence outputs. Support finance and data improvement initiatives that enhance business performance. This is a 12-month fixed term parental leave cover contract starting November 2026 until November 2027. Skills and Experiences The person A Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) qualification CA, CFA or similar professional qualification 5+ years' experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, or a related finance role Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise Experience working with databases and business intelligence toolsExposure to reporting and visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Qlik or similar Strong analytical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex information into practical business insights A collaborative, proactive and results-focused approach.
