Site Supervisor

Due to their growth, they are now looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team in Wanaka. The Role Initially you will be working on a large land development project covering earthworks, drainage and civil. You will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations on site, managing crews, subcontractors, organising plant and materials while coordinating with Project Managers, Engineers and clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise site crews, subcontractors, and plant operators across active work areas Coordinate daily works and construction programmes with Project Managers Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and NZ legislation Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, and audits Maintain site documentation, quality records, and daily reporting Monitor plant usage, safety compliance, and resource allocation Ensure work is completed to specification, on time, and to quality standards What Youll Bring Proven experience supervising civil construction or earthworks projects Strong leadership and communication skills Solid understanding of NZ Health and Safety requirements Ability to read plans and manage site quality processes Experience with site reporting and safety systems High attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and quality What We Offer Competitive remuneration Supportive team environment Opportunity to work on a range of civil infrastructure projects Career growth within a well-established business This is a hands-on role based across active construction sites, with occasional extra hours required to meet project deadlines.
