The Trust owns and operates Due Drop Events Centre, Trillian Wero Whitewater Park and Wero Climb, delivering programmes & events that inspire participation, build confidence, and foster community connection. https://www.wakapacific.org.nz/ About the Role We’re seeking an organised, creative, and people‑focused Education and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique role combining: Coordination of school education programmes across all three facilities Creative marketing, communications, and promotions You’ll work closely with schools, educators, and our operations teams, supporting everything from programme logistics through to social media content and marketing campaigns. No two days are the same, and flexibility is key. Key Responsibilities Coordinate school bookings, communications, and programme logistics Build and maintain relationships with principals and teachers Send programme information, confirmations, and workshop schedules Support programme delivery and collect feedback Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting Marketing and Communications Create marketing and communications collateral Help manage websites and social media channels Coordinate marketing campaigns, photography, and content creation Maintain marketing databases and email communications Monitor and report on social media and website analytics General Support and Projects Support organisational projects and community engagement initiatives Assist the operations & front of house team when required Our ideal candidate will have: A qualification in Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (advantageous) Must have marketing experience / exposure to marketing environments Experience working with schools/the education sector, or a genuine passion for education and youth development Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools (Adobe creative cloud/Canva. Content creation and Meta Business Suite) - advantageous Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational and administrative abilities Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines A positive attitude, great enthusiasm and willingness to support a fun collaborative team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
