We are a small family business who manages the exclusive NZ distributor for Stiltz Homelifts and Stannah Stairlifts . Based out of Upper Hutt, we do things differently. We specialize in residential access solutions, installing and servicing home lifts for everyday people all over New Zealand. Why You’ll Love This Role: No commercial chaos: Most of our work is inside clean, residential homes. Great pay & security: $30 – $40+ p/h (dependent on your experience) with guaranteed full-time permanent hours. Balanced regional travel: See New Zealand with just 1–3 scheduled nights away from home per fortnight. All expenses covered: Accommodation, meals, and travel expenses are 100% paid by us. Fully loaded toolkit: Well-maintained company vehicle available for daily work use, along with a phone and top-tier trade tools. Earn while you learn: Full product-specific training on global premium brands will be provided. What You’ll Be Doing: Installing premium residential homelifts and stairlifts into homes nationwide. Conducting routine servicing, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance. Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults with a practical, friendly attitude. What You Bring: A solid mechanical, building, or electrical trade background (experience in the lift, hoist, or automated systems trade is a massive bonus, but not essential if you are handy with tools. A clean, full NZ driver’s licence (essential for operating our fleet vehicles). A genuine willingness to travel out of town for scheduled regional trips. Empathy and great communication—you will be working directly with families in their homes. A reliable, self-motivated attitude to work safely and autonomously on site.
