Our sonographers enjoy a varied caseload, modern Canon ultrasound equipment, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to work in a practice where professionalism, quality and patient care are at the heart of everything we do. _______________________________________________________________________________________ About the Role This position can be part-time or full-time (minimum 30 hours per week). The successful applicant will perform a broad range of examinations including: General ultrasound Obstetric ultrasound Gynaecological ultrasound Small parts ultrasound Basic vascular ultrasound studies There may also be opportunities to further develop skills in musculoskeletal, vascular and vein-related procedures for applicants with an interest in these areas. _______________________________________________________________________________________ What We're Looking For We are seeking a sonographer who: Holds a recognised postgraduate ultrasound qualification (DMU or equivalent) Is registered, or eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (NZMRTB) Holds, or is eligible to obtain a current practising certificate within the Ultrasound Scope of Practice Has experience working independently in a diagnostic ultrasound environment Demonstrates good professional judgement, critical thinking, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills promoting good relationships between staff, patients and referring clinicians. Is professional, reliable and committed to high clinical standards Please note: This is not a supervised training position.
