Are you a recent engineering graduate looking to build practical, real-world experience in a workshop environment? We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Workshop Engineer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline who enjoys working with technology, equipment, and problem-solving. You'll gain valuable experience refurbishing, configuring, testing, and preparing Ricoh devices while learning from an experienced technical team. About the Role As a Workshop Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our devices are refurbished, configured, quality-checked, and ready for deployment. You'll develop practical engineering skills, learn structured workshop processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Refurbish, assemble, and configure Ricoh devices and accessories Perform quality inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis Carry out preventative maintenance and basic repairs Install and configure software, firmware, and device settings Complete workshop documentation and maintain accurate records Support inventory management and workshop organisation Assist with product preparation and staging activities Identify opportunities to improve workshop processes and efficiency Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping Take care of company tools, equipment, and assets About You A recent graduate or entry-level candidate with a Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or similar qualification Hands-on, practical, and enjoys understanding how systems and equipment work Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new technology platforms High attention to detail and commitment to quality Well-organised with good time management skills Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to work Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why Join Us?
