Our dedicated workforce focuses on delivering sustainment capabilities to the NZ Defence Force. Your responsibilities will include: Our workshop plays a key role in keeping the NZ Army moving. In this role, you’ll be responsible for: Servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles across the NZDF operational fleet Completing certification and compliance work to NZDF standards Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and mission-ready Working on a wide range of military vehicles and equipment, including MAN Medium and Heavy Operational Vehicles (MHOV), Mercedes, UNIMOG, and Pinzgauer vehicles within the NZ Army and Regional Equipment Pool (REP) fleet About you: Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic A good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision Special Requirements: A NZ citizen, OR A NZ Permanent Resident who has resided in NZ for the past 5 years OR A citizen ofAustralia, Canada, UK or the USA who has a current work permit for NZ You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
