Part flooring Part civil And part being a good bugger that clients and teammates enjoy working with. If you’re great on the tools, but feel like you’ve been doing the same thing for years, this might be the change you didn’t know you were open to. BUT before you read any further… If you: Are allergic to fresh air Get stressed easily Cut corners Are looking for an office job or a hands-off role telling people what to do Then this won’t be your thing. If you: Like work where the results speak for themselves Care about quality and clean finishes Enjoy staying fit through physical work Are a professional, but are a work-socks-and-steel-caps kind of guy And like finishing most days standing back thinking, “that’s something I’m proud to put my name on.” We’re hiring for THREE roles We usually work in teams of two, an installation manager and an installation specialist. More on this below. So… what is this work? Artificial grass installation is far more technical than people expect. We: Excavate ordinary lawns Prepare bases using AP20 and install edging Work with drainage Cut, shape and join materials precisely Finish to a high standard clients notice immediately As well as other landscaping related work to ensure the job looks amazing. Projects range from: High-end residential backyards Gyms & training facilities Sports courts and a bunch of other crazy stuff No two jobs look the same. And the before-and-after is always satisfying About the Installation Manager role: This is a working foreman role. Running the job onsite Keeping Phil back at the office up to update Setting the standard Managing the client experience If you’ve: Led small crews before Run your own jobs or naturally take charge on site You’ll feel right at home. A company vehicle is included. About the Installation Specialist role You’re hands-on from day one. You’ll: Prepare bases Move material Cut, join and install turf systems Support the Installation Manager and learn a specialised trade quickly No turf experience required. If you’ve got: Trade or DIY ability Mechanical or practical instincts and a solid work ethic We’ll teach you the rest. About the Sports Court Installer role You’re all of the above, plus Often called a perfectionist More into the turf laying, less into the civils Patient and okay with chipping away at the longer jobs (most of them several weeks) Interested in travelling a lot for work, going wherever the work takes you - Mangawhai to Milton So where do our team come from? This is important, because many of our best people did not come from turf. They came from: Landscaping Automotive Flooring Operations and yes… even straight out of school What they all have in common: Pride in their work Common sense They like speed, noise, and hobbies that make their mums’ nervous. The Perks: Switched-on teammates Varied projects across NZ Occasional away work (some guys love this) A role where the work itself is satisfying Proper tools & equipment provided (yes, Milwaukee) A company that’s growing fast and serious about providing amazing trade experiences for our customers Installation Managers also get: Company vehicle Leadership responsibility without being off the tools Before you go, one last thing… Some of our best hires: Weren’t job hunting Liked their current role and applied after a mate sent them this ad saying“this sounds like you.” #J-18808-Ljbffr
