About the role As a Personal Lines Broker, you will act as the key advisor for domestic and personal insurance needs, directly contributing to the success of the company by driving outstanding customer retention and portfolio growth. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including clients and underwriters, to ensure the best possible outcomes. This is a newly created role due to ongoing growth. Duties Provide expert advice on home, contents, motor, and personal property insurance. Analyse client requirements to recommend suitable, tailored coverage options. Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate favourable terms and premiums. Identify new business opportunities and actively manage client relationships. Prepare accurate documentation while adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines. Skills and experience Applicants must demonstrate the following: Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Personal Lines Broker in New Zealand. Profound knowledge of domestic insurance products and New Zealand regulations. Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment. ANZIIF or NZCFS Level 5 qualification required.
