About the role: We are seeking an experienced Operations Planning Specialist to join the dynamic team at CarbonScape. This position plays a crucial strategic role in optimising production schedules, resource allocation, and supply chain efficiency. You will be at the heart of operational excellence, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly whilst meeting customer demands and maximising productivity. Key responsibilities: Lead integrated planning across production, trials, maintenance and engineering activities Coordinate and prioritise daily operational activities across multiple teams Develop, maintain and adjust production and operational schedules Prepare clear work packages for production, projects and trials Coordinate maintenance schedules and equipment readiness Ensure materials, inventory and critical resources are available Improve planning systems and streamline operational processes Communicate schedules, priorities and changes across the business Prepare operational reports to support business decision-making Drive continuous improvement in planning, coordination and operational efficiency What we're looking for: Proven experience in operations planning, production scheduling, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions Proficiency in planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and forecasting Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma would be desirable but is not essential Why Join CarbonScape?
