Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) Driver - Canterbury Are you an experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) looking for a hands-on role with a growing New Zealand company? WasteCo is seeking a safety-focused and reliable STMS Driver to join our Canterbury Sweeping Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing traffic control activities while supporting our sweeper truck operations, ensuring the safety of our team, road users, and the wider community. About the Role Reporting to the Sweeping Supervisor, you will: Manage traffic control operations while accompanying WasteCo sweeper trucks Set up and monitor temporary traffic management sites Implement Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) Ensure the safety of road users, staff, and site operations Conduct site assessments and consultations Complete vehicle pre-start checks and daily paperwork Report hazards, incidents, and improvement opportunities Attend toolbox meetings and maintain compliance with Health & Safety requirements What We're looking For To be successful in this role, you will have: Class 2 Driver Licence (essential) Proven traffic management experience Full New Zealand Driver Licence Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Commitment to health, safety, and teamwork Why Join WasteCo?
